Olle Åberg, born 1970

Lives and works in Gävle, Sweden.
Attended a regular art school between 1989 and 1991.
And under the following years I worked a lot with visual art,
i.e. paintings, print media, sculptures etc.
Started in 1999 to study EAM at IDKA (the institute for digital arts) in Gävle,
for Thomas Bjelkeborn, Jens Hedman, Mikael Strömberg and Anders Blomquist (1999-2004).
Also music composition for Sven-David Sandström, Henrik Strindberg, Per Mårtensson,
Anders Blomqvist, Fredric Bergström, Ann Helling, Jesper Elén and Mattias Svensson
at the Gotland school of composition, (2006-07).
Works primaly as a composer of electroacoustic music/textsound-things but also with visual arts,
performance, contemporary dance and film.
Also active in the several groups, like: Analoga Institutet, Origami Gotlandica,
OLJUD I REN PANIK and under the monicker Olle Oljud.
My pieces have been played at several national and international festivals
including Synthése in Bourges France, through the aid of ICEM (international confederation of electroacoustic music).
Member of Fylkingen, ICEM, SEAMS.
